So, like, you see those Saint Laurent bags, right? They’re not just bags. They’re basically *statements*. They’re saying, “Hey, I’ve got style, I’ve got, like, a *vibe*,” and maybe even, “I might be able to afford avocado toast *and* this bag, thank you very much.” (Okay, maybe not that last one, but you *feel* it).
The thing that’s kinda cool is they’ve got this whole rock ‘n’ roll meets high-fashion thing going on. It’s not all super stuffy and old lady-ish. You get your classic shapes, but then BAM! Monogram explosion! The YSL logo is basically a brand symbol. You know exactly what you’re getting when you see it.
You got your iconic players, too, like the Loulou… that’s the quilted one, yeah? Super comfy looking, kinda makes you wanna just sink your hand into it, doesn’t it? And then there’s the Sac de Jour. That’s more of a “I-mean-business-but-I’m-still-chic” kinda bag. Then comes Kate – hello elegance! And don’t even get me started on Niki. That’s the one that looks like it’s seen things, you know? Lived a little. Kinda slouchy, kinda cool.
I also kinda like the totes, especially the ones with the printed canvas. Like, a leather bag is great, don’t get me wrong, but sometimes you just wanna throw everything in a big ol’ tote and not worry about it. Perfect for grocery shopping, or uh, a spontaneous trip to… wherever.
And Nordstrom, bless their hearts, actually carries a bunch. And free shipping? Come on! That’s dangerous. My bank account is already sweating thinking about it.
