First off, you gotta understand the Superstar legacy, right? We’re talking like, a legit icon that’s been kicking around for half a century. FIFTY YEARS! That’s insane. But the Bonega? It’s like the Superstar went and got a glow-up. A makeover, if you will.
The biggest thing that jumps out, obviously, is that PLATORM entressola. Like, hello height! We’re not just talking a little lift, we’re talking full-on platform action. And from what I’ve read, walking in them is supposed to be like, walking on clouds. Which, honestly, sign me up. My dogs are barking just *thinking* about cloud-walking.
I’ve seen them called “zapatillas urbanas” which, I mean, yeah, duh. They’re perfect for strolling around town, looking effortlessly cool. But here’s the thing – they’re *everywhere*. Like, I saw one website saying the color and size I wanted was out of stock! Seriously?! The desperation is real, folks.
And then there’s the “Bonega BR” version, whatever that is. Maybe it’s a Brazilian exclusive? I don’t know, I’m just spitballing here. And the “Patike Superstar Bonega” – I’m pretty sure “Patike” just means sneakers in another language. So, yeah, international appeal!
Honestly, I’m kinda torn. Part of me thinks they’re super cool and I need them ASAP. The platform gives them a really modern edge, and I like how they’ve played with the colors. But the other part of me is like, “Are you *really* gonna jump on this bandwagon?” I mean, everyone and their grandma will be wearing them soon.
But then again…CLOUD walking! And the ARTWALK has them! And they’re supposed to make you look “estiloso na medida certa,” which roughly translates to “stylish in just the right amount.” I mean, come on! Who doesn’t want that?
