First off, I saw this thing about “45+ New Arrivals to Shop Right Now” on…some website. Blusas and roupas femininas, which, you know, is Portuguese for blouses and women’s clothes. Anyway, it’s like, constantly being bombarded with “new new NEW!” And it makes you wonder, are we *ever* satisfied with what we have? I dunno. Maybe it’s just me being a cynical old (not really) soul.
Then there’s this whole “7 Fashion Trends to Know for 2025” thing. 2025! Dude, that’s like, a lifetime away. What I wear tomorrow is a bigger concern than what’s gonna be trendy in two years. Though, I guess knowing is good? Like, should I start practicing wearing those ridiculously oversized platform shoes now? (Please no.)
Oh, and Fashion Schools! I mean, good for them, right? If you wanna dedicate your life and probably a small fortune to fashion design, go for it. But, like, can’t you just learn by, I don’t know, *doing*? Some of the coolest fashion I’ve seen comes from people just being creative and not caring about the “rules.” My grandma used to sew her own clothes, and they were way more interesting than anything I see in stores half the time.
And, okay, this is where it gets weird. I saw something about “Worlds Largest Replica Discussion Board.” Replicas? Seriously? Is fashion just about copying each other? Isn’t the point to, like, express yourself? I get wanting to look like a celeb on the red carpet, but buying a *fake* version? It feels… sad, somehow. No offense to anyone who buys replicas! You do you!
Speaking of celebs, there’s always the “best in celebrity style” thing. And like, they usually look amazing, but they also have stylists and endless budgets. So, it’s kinda hard to relate to. I’d rather see real people, you know, rocking their own style on the street.
