Anyway, I stumbled upon this ad, or like, a bunch of snippets really, and it got me thinking. Imagine, like, designing *your own* Celine-esque platform peep-toe pump. I mean, talk about a statement piece! It’s white satin which, let’s be honest, is a bit basic, but hear me out. Dyeable! You could go full-on rainbow, or maybe like, a subtle ombre. Ooh, or what about a crazy animal print? Think leopard print but like, neon green and purple? Okay, maybe that’s a bit much.
The ad blurb says platform shoes are comfy. Comfy heels? Is that even a thing? I’ve always thought heels were instruments of torture disguised as fashion. But hey, if these platform ones actually work, then I’m sold. Plus, you can design them yourself.
Then there’s the whole “Shoenvious” thing. Sounds a bit try-hard, doesn’t it? “Create your masterpiece in 4 weeks!” Like, chill, it’s just a shoe, not the Mona Lisa. But the idea of having something totally unique… I get it.
I saw another ad for Poyter shoes and their 3D shoe design app. A 3D design app? I feel like I’d end up making something that looks like a mutated clown shoe. But the 10% off… tempting. And Lidia Talavera offers personal inscriptions! Like, you could get your dog’s name on your heel. Or maybe “Don’t Trip, Dummy”. I’m just spitballing here.
And then, Shoe Zero. “Bespoke wedding shoes!” Okay, now *that’s* an idea. Forget the boring white satin. Imagine walking down the aisle in custom-designed emerald green heels. That would be so freaking cool. Or, and this is just a crazy thought, what if you designed matching shoes for you *and* your dog? Okay, maybe I’m taking this too far.
