Listen, I’m not gonna lie. I’m a sucker for a good scarf. It’s like, the easiest way to elevate an outfit, right? Even if you’re just rocking a plain t-shirt and jeans, BAM! Dior scarf. Instant chicness. Or at least, that’s the idea. Sometimes, I feel like I just look like I’m trying too hard, y’know? Like, “Oh, look at her, she thinks she’s fancy.” But hey, that’s just my own insecurities talking.
And the Dior Oblique Silk Scarf? Ugh, that’s the holy grail, isn’t it? The one with the repeating Dior logo? Total classic. You can tie it around your neck, your head, your purse handle… you could probably tie it around your dog if you were feeling particularly extra. (Don’t actually do that, though. Probably not safe for the doggo.)
But honestly? Sometimes I think the *really* cool ones are the more contemporary ones. The ones that aren’t just all logo, all the time. You know, the ones with the cool art prints or the unexpected color combinations. They’re a little more… unexpected? They show a bit more personality, I think. The logo ones are kinda…safe. Don’t get me wrong, I love them, but they’re *safe*.
Okay, side note: I saw someone wearing a Dior scarf tied around their wrist like a bracelet the other day and, frankly, I was jealous. Genius! I need to try that. Maybe I’ll mess it up and look like I’m wearing a bandage, but hey, gotta try new things, right?
And, and, and! The silk! Let’s talk about the silk! It’s ridiculously soft. Like, you just want to rub it on your face all day. (Okay, maybe *I* just want to rub it on my face all day. Don’t judge.) But seriously, the quality is insane. You can tell it’s going to last. (Assuming you don’t spill coffee all over it, which, knowing me, is a very real possibility.)
