Well, according to what I read, they don’t skimp. We’re talking Swiss movements, which, let’s be honest, are kind of the gold standard, pun intended. And 18K gold? Alligator leather? Seriously, they’re throwing ALL the fancy stuff at it. It’s not just some cheapy-cheap thing you’d pick up at a, uh, you know, those places with the flashing signs, haha.
Plus, I saw something about a limited edition of 100 for some of the 38mm models. Limited edition means EXPENSIVE, people. It’s like, “Hey, you’re one of the cool kids if you can afford this!” (Which, sadly, I am *not* currently).
But here’s the thing, right? High precision is all well and good, but does it *really* matter? I mean, most of us just glance at our phones for the time anyway, don’t we? So, is it just a status symbol thing? Probably. But I gotta admit, they *do* look pretty darn slick. The description says they’re good for “casual brunches to dinner.” Okay, but who wears a watch that costs more than my car to a brunch? I mean, I’d be afraid of spilling mimosa on it!
