Then there’s the Le Cagole – that whole vibe with the little heart mirror. I saw it on Bloomingdale’s and like, its cute, but a little cheesy, right? I saw a pink one, and i don’t think I can pull it off. And the adjustible strap is alright.
And then I saw something about a bag that looks like a Morrison’s (that’s a supermarket in the UK, for those who don’t know) bag. Seriously? What is going on at Balenciaga? Are they just throwing darts at a mood board or something?
I read someone online saying their City bag *didn’t* come with a mirror anymore. Apparently, some sales lady in Paris told them they don’t do that anymore? Wait, so some bags have mirrors, some don’t, and some ARE mirrors? I’m so confused.
Honestly, it feels like Balenciaga is just messing with us. Are they trying to make us reflect on ourselves? (Pun intended, ha!) Or are they just trying to see how much ridiculous stuff we’ll buy? I mean, the mirror thing is kinda cool in a narcissistic, “look at me!” kinda way, but… practical? Nah.
