I mean, I saw some stuff online, like people going nuts for this MIROIR DOUBLE FACETTES thing. Double-sided mirror, touch-ups on the go…yeah, okay, I get the appeal. But then there’s the whole “replica” thing. Ugh. Like, seriously? Paying a crapload of money for a *fake* Chanel? Nope. Can’t get behind that. Especially when I saw one description talking about “heavy peeling” and “minor markings” – uh, no thanks! I’d rather just buy a dang, u know, legit, vintage chanel bag with mirror.
And speaking of vintage, I saw some descriptions mentioning Chanel 2.55 Reissue flap bags, like, silver ones with this quilted suede. Okay, *that* sounds kinda cool. Though, I gotta wonder…wouldn’t a suede bag be a total pain to keep clean? I’m a clumsy person, I’d spill coffee all over it within five minutes, guaranteed.
Then there’s the Boy bag. I’ve always thought those were kinda…meh. I dunno, something about the boxy shape just doesn’t do it for me. But hey, to each their own, right?
Honestly, my biggest problem with all this is the price tag, I bet. Like, I can totally appreciate a well-made bag, the craftsmanship, the materials, the whole shebang. But shelling out, like, *thousands* for something I’m just gonna toss my keys and wallet in? Nah. I’d rather spend that money on a vacation, or, like, a lifetime supply of tacos.
