Like, LOEWE, right? High-end, fancy-schmancy stuff. So the idea of “overrun stock” kinda makes sense. I mean, nobody’s perfect, factories mess up, they make too much, whatever. But still… something feels a little off, ya know?
You see these listings, and they’re always like, “Authentic LOEWE, just a little cheaper!” or “Factory Seconds! Minor Imperfections!” Okay, cool. Maybe a stitch is a little wonky, or the leather has a tiny scratch. Happens. BUT. And it’s a big but, like J-Lo’s but. How much cheaper are we talkin’ here? Is it a steal, or is it just…slightly less expensive?
Because if it’s too good to be true, it probably IS. I mean, come on. We’ve all been burned before. Remember that time you thought you were getting a real Gucci belt for 20 bucks on eBay? Yeah. *shudders*
And what even qualifies as “overrun”? Are we talking like, a few extra wallets? Or did they accidentally churn out a whole warehouse full of Puzzle wallets? And if so, WHY? Did someone order a million of them and then bounce? Did they just have a really, really good day at the leather factory? I need answers!
Plus, the descriptions are always so vague. “May have minor imperfections.” Like, what kind of imperfections? Is it gonna fall apart in my hands? Is the LOEWE logo misspelled (Loewe? Loewy? LOL!)?
Honestly, I’m a sucker for a good deal. I love the *idea* of getting a designer wallet at a fraction of the price. But the risk… ugh. It’s a gamble, plain and simple. You might get a sweet deal on a genuine LOEWE wallet that’s perfectly functional and just has, like, a tiny little scratch you can barely see. Or you might end up with a glorified piece of pleather that smells vaguely of chemicals and will disintegrate the second you put it in your pocket.
