I’ve been seeing the Le Locle popping up everywhere, especially the *Le Locle Automatique*. “Automatique” sounds fancy, doesn’t it? Basically means it winds itself, so you don’t have to be all “OH NO, my watch stopped, I’m gonna be late!” You know, the drama.
Apparently, “Le Locle” is also the name of the town where Tissot started, which is kinda cool. It gives it this, like, authentic vibe. I mean, if your watch is named after a place in the Swiss mountains, it *has* to be good, right? Or at least look like it is.
Okay, so I saw one of the reviews mentioning a Valjoux Chronograph Le Locle. Sounds super complicated. Too complicated for me, tbh. I’m more of a minimalist kinda gal. Plus, the review said it was too big. Nobody wants a watch that looks like a clock strapped to their wrist. This other review also said it’s only 39.3mm x 9.8mm, which sounds absolutely perfect for my wrist.
Anyway, the whole Le Locle design seems to be about Roman numerals and this “guilloché” dial thing. I had to Google that. Apparently, it’s a fancy pattern. Looked pretty swanky. It’s like they’re trying to be classic but also, you know, *now*. Can they pull it off? I guess it depends on your taste.
And they do have a collection for women! Which is nice, cuz sometimes watch brands completely forget that women exist. So, points for Tissot. I’m not sure how their watches for women look, though, but I’m sure they’re good, right?
Honestly, I’m kinda tempted to get one now. Especially if they really do offer frete grátis. But the big question is, do I *need* a fancy Swiss watch? Probably not. But do I *want* one? Maybe. Okay, probably. The heart wants what the heart wants, and right now, my heart wants a Tissot Le Locle. I just need to, you know, find the money. Maybe I’ll sell some old books. Or, even better, win the lottery.
